Traffic was held on the M4 westbound from junction 18 A46 Bath/Tormarton to junction 19 M32 Bristol shortly after 5.30am this morning as fire services and police were at the scene. ‌Avon Fire and Rescue service deployed crews from Yate, Bath and Kingswood to attend the scene along the M4 alongside National Highways Traffic Officers and Avon and Somerset Police. ‌Traffic delays reached an hour long with drivers backed up for four miles.
