‌Montana Robertson, 23, visited HMP Parc in Bridgend on April 4 last year in order to visit her boyfriend who was a serving inmate. ‌A sentencing hearing at Newport Crown Court on Wednesday heard the defendant was found in possession of a small cling film wrap hidden in her mouth. She was arrested and taken into custody as she told officers she had smuggled the items into the prison it out of "peer pressure". Her phone was examined and there were text messages between her and another in which she agreed to take drugs and other items into the prison. Robertson, Pant Glas, Pentwyn, Cardiff, later pleaded guilty to two counts of conveying a listed article into prison and possession of cannabis.
