While many blame Nintendo for the game’s censorship, a screenshot from Discord shared by an X user suggests that AdHoc may have decided independently to censor Dispatch on Nintendo platforms. “Rumors suggest that @theAdHocStudio might be responsible for the censorship of THEIR OWN GAME on Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, not Nintendo America,” wrote Smash JT. An apparent NOA support representative implied that AdHoc made the choice to implement the censorship, which raised suspicions among the community.
