To that end, Microsoft SA and the SABC have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to make AI fluency more accessible, with the SABC Plus streaming platform being the main vehicle for doing so.
“Together, Microsoft and the SABC intend to integrate AI fluency modules, refresh digital literacy pathways, and co-brand digital badges into the SABC Plus platform.
This commitment with SABC Plus is a milestone in our journey to scale access, accelerate employability, and empower communities.
For now, the precise mechanisms for how AI fluency will be delivered on SABC Plus has not been detailed.
