Senate President Godswill Akpabio has dismissed speculation that Nigeria’s newly enacted tax laws were tampered with, insisting that the versions signed into law remain authentic and unchanged. Speaking during plenary on Wednesday, Akpabio addressed concerns that multiple versions of the tax laws were circulating. Akpabio directed the Clerk of the Senate to distribute certified copies to all senators, stressing that the documents must not be released to unauthorised persons.
