Ms Tidd's list of accomplishments in the public service is long and varied. She believes her role initiating the Everyone at Work program - which creates tailored pathways into public sector roles for people with intellectual disabilities - was one of the keys to her being awarded the honour. She also played a crucial role in developing Disability Inclusion Plans, ensuring staff with lived experiences are consulted during policy design.
