Today, the importance of energy innovation and governance has persisted. Northwestern’s Energy Innovation Lab, which focuses on energy and emerging technology innovation, launched earlier this month. In May, the former Pritzker School of Law dean stepped down from the role to focus on leading the lab. The lab is working on four major projects related to energy innovation: data center optimization, energy and technology investment, technology and energy geopolitics and energy frontiers in space. For Osofsky, these types of collaborations across institutions and disciplines are crucial for the lab’s work.
