A 44-year-old man identified as Kweku Charles has been arrested after allegedly burying his 80-year-old wife inside their bedroom and concealing her death for more than two weeks. The deceased, Esther Bolu, was a well-known figure in her community and the founder and leader of a local church. Her absence reportedly began to raise concern among neighbours and church members after she was not seen in public or at church activities for an extended period. According to information gathered from the community, suspicion grew when Mr Charles began leading church services in place of his wife without offering any clear explanation about her whereabouts. Concerned neighbours are said to have alerted community leaders, prompting further checks that eventually led to the discovery of the alleged burial site inside the couple’s bedroom.
