Construction work on two new office blocks continues around the Flying Pig pub in Cambridge. Pictures show how cranes have been moved onto the site in Hills Road and now tower over the pub. The Flying Pig pub closed its doors in October 2021, ahead of plans to redevelop the land around the pub. At the time a representative of the development team pledged that the Flying Pig pub would be reopened “as early as possible”. The Flying Pig pub is also proposed to be refurbished under the project, with latest pictures from the site showing how the rear extension to the building has been demolished.
