Texas women’s swim and dive will compete against the Texas A&M Aggies in the Lone Star Showdown on Jan. 30 in College Station, Texas. It is a rivalry and tradition that dates back years for the Aggies and Longhorns. The Longhorns clinched the 2024-25 Cotton Holdings Lone Star Showdown trophy, 11–5 points over the Aggies. Last year, at the Lone Star Showdown in Austin, the Longhorns dominated the Aggies in both women’s and men’s. Following the Lone Star Showdown, the Longhorns and Aggies will meet again at the SEC Championship in Knoxville, Tenn., Feb. 17-21.
