Highways and interstates are drivable, and secondary roads, like Baseline Road and Stagecoach Road are pretty good, according to Dave Parker, communications director for the Arkansas Department of Transportation. Less-traveled roads still may have significant ice and snow cover, though. Neighborhood roads are managed at the city and county level, rather than by the state. Vehicle crash numbers have been relatively low during the storm, Parker said. Little Rock city offices are set to open Thursday at 10 a.m. and trash pickups are set to resume Friday, according to a city press release, though both the Little Rock School District and the North Little Rock School District have called off class for the day.
