The siblings, through a family trust under their control, have sold approximately 107,000 Tredegar shares since Jan. 14.
While they account for only a fraction of the 7.1 million Tredegar shares the Gottwalds collectively own, the sales show a marked increase in the disposition of their holdings and further illustrate their eagerness for change at the company.
The brothers began a steady streak of offloading Tredegar shares last summer, albeit in small amounts at first.
In total since July 31, 2025, the family trust has sold approximately 169,000 Tredegar shares at an average of roughly $8.50 per share totaling around $1.43 million, SEC filings show.
The company was created as a spinoff of Ethyl Corp., which was run by the brothers’ late father, Floyd Gottwald.
