–No injuries were reported following a 2-vehicle collision south of Wesley Friday morning. According to the Kossuth County Sheriff’s Office, 81-year-old Ronald Hauser of Grinnell was travelling west bound on County Road B40 in a 2013 Cadillac XTS around 10:45 AM. Aggen told Deputies that he saw the Hauser vehicle as it approached the intersection and took evasive action when he saw the driver failed to stop at the stop sign. Both drivers and a passenger in the Hauser vehicle were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash, with no injuries reported. Damage to the semi was estimated at $20,000 while damage to the Cadillac was estimated at $15,000.
