LYNN — The Lynn Library Board of Trustees met on Wednesday evening, where Chief Librarian and Director Theresa Hurley announced two events happening in February.
Then, in celebration of Valentine’s Day on Feb. 14, they will be hosting a marriage event at the Lynn Public Library.
“They’re not allowed to marry at City Hall anymore, (so) we’re going to make an event out of it; get married at the library,” Hurley explained.
At the end of the meeting, LaCrecia Thomson announced that she is leaving Lynn.
Thomson, who was the first-ever Arts and Culture Planner for the City of Lynn, told the Board: “It’s been wonderful.
