LYNNFIELD — Town officials representing their departments presented their Fiscal Year 2027 budgets to the Select Board at its meeting on Wednesday. The department did, however, request a 3% increase in its contractual obligations line item, Secatore said. Secatore said he credits the department’s minimal requests to the new police station. Fire Chief Glenn Davis has most of the increases in the budget for FY27 allocated for contractual obligations. When discussing capital projects for the department, Davis said, “Fire departments are expensive,” and that he had multiple requests for improvements to the department.
