The man had been socialising with friends at the Head of Steam in Tynemouth on July 13, 2024, when the hen‑party group approached.
Newcastle Crown Court heard that the atmosphere was initially jovial, with “light‑hearted interaction” involving novelty inflatables.
Mairi Clancy, prosecuting, said that “without warning” Stalker turned and struck him in the face with a glass, which shattered on impact.
Defending, Brian Hegarty, told the court that Stalker had only realised the extent of the man's injuries after handing herself in to police.
The court heard Stalker has shared care for her three children, has had some mental health issues and works part-time in the NHS.
