Kannapolis Police Chief Terry Spry recently announced two leadership promotions in the department. Reid began his career with the Kannapolis Police Department as a patrol officer in 2016. He was designated as a field training officer in 2019, then as a police officer II in 2020. He is a graduate of Concord High School and holds a bachelor of science degree in criminal justice from Everest University. Burris is a graduate of Mount Pleasant High School and holds an associate’s degree in criminal justice from Rowan-Cabarrus Community College.
