Plans for a new Kingdom Hall in Inverness have been approved by Highland Council despite previous objections from residents. Safety concerns over new Kingdom Hall in Inverness dismissedLochardil and Drummond Community Council objected to the application in November 2024, on safety grounds. In a letter submitted to the Highland Council, community councillors said they valued the grounds as green space and a safe active travel route. Following further engagement by the developer, the Transport Planning team confirmed they had “no further objections” to the plans in August 2025. The new Kingdom Hall will hold 150 people.
