FM Nirmala Sitharaman to table Economic Survey in Parliament today

New Delhi, Jan 29 (UNI) Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will table the Economic Survey of India in the Parliament on ThursdayThe Economic Survey, prepared by the Economic Division of the Finance Ministry under the guidance of the Chief Economic Adviser, provides a comprehensive analysis of the country’s current economic condition, highlighting key trends, challenges, and achievements.
The Economic Survey will be followed by the union Budget for 2026–27, which Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present on February 1.
Further, union Minister of State for Civil Aviation Murlidhar Mohol will table documents related to the Airports Economic Regulatory Authority of India (AERA).
This will be followed by the laying of papers on the Table by members of the union Council of Ministers.
The leaders were informed that the Budget Session of Parliament, 2026, will commence on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, and, subject to the exigencies of government business, may conclude on Thursday, April 2, 2026.
