Gas prices have lowered both locally as well as across the western Pennsylvania region as a whole over the past week. According to AAA’s weekly gas price report, the average price for a gallon of regular, unleaded, self-serve gas in Butler, as of yesterday, dropped by eight cents to hit $3.11 per gallon. The average gas price across western Pennsylvania as a whole decreased by a nickel to sit at $3.12. Both gasoline demand and oil prices decreased slightly last week.
