Two people are in custody after a major police operation in Newtown that saw an allegedly stolen car reverse into a school bus. The stolen Kia Optima was spotted by the Air Wing near the intersection of the Princes Highway and Roebuck Street around 3:40pm. The female driver of a civilian vehicle was taken to hospital with minor injuries. It’s alleged the vehicle was stolen in New South Wales.
