Accused psycho surgeon Michael McKee had previously warned his ex-wife that he could kill her “at any time” before fatally shooting her and her new husband in their Ohio home, according to court records.
McKee, a vascular surgeon in Illinois, was arrested on Jan. 10 for allegedly killing his ex-wife, Monique Tepe, and Ohio dentist Spencer Tepe, in late December, as their two children and dog remained unharmed in the home.
3 After the Tepes’ deaths, at least one witness told investigators that Monique had described moments when McKee, 39, “forced unwanted sex,” and strangled her.
Franklin County JailMonique then left the game early at halftime and Spencer told friends she “was upset about something involving her ex-husband,” prosecutors alleged.
McKee faces a maximum sentence of life in prison without the possibility of parole if convicted in the double murder case.
