Merseyside Police received a call just before 7pm reporting the male victim was cycling along Mill Lane when he was approached by two unknown men on a Sur-ron motorbike. ‌The men asked the cyclist who the bicycle belonged to. ‌The victim, a man in his 30s, sustained a cut lip which required medical treatment. CCTV and witness enquiries are being carried out, and anyone with any information is asked to contact police.
