Benjamin Okezie Kalu, and the Abia State Government over alleged interference with development projects in Bende Federal Constituency. Speaking during a media interaction at his country home in Bende, Deputy Speaker Kalu called for greater collaboration between his office and the state government to accelerate development across Bende Federal Constituency and other parts of Abia State. He expressed frustration over what he described as resistance from certain state officials to federal constituency projects he had facilitated. Kalu specifically lamented that contractors were allegedly prevented from proceeding with the construction of a health centre and school projects he attracted to his constituency.
