Auburn has been one of the most active programs in the transfer portal since it opened in early January. The Tigers, led by new head coach Alex Golesh, have signed 39 transfers, the third-most among FBS schools this offseason. “There’s some late May-out junior college guys, some late qualifier high school guys, we’ve left ourselves a little bit of room,” Golesh said. Auburn lost eight defensive linemen from the 2025 roster and added six from the transfer portal. The transfer portal closed for players to enter on Jan. 16, but players already in the portal can still sign with schools after that.
