The veteran assistant coach has officially been named the new head football coach at Theodore High School. “It’s definitely very special,” Larson said of his first head coach job. Meredith, who followed Downey as head coach, hired Larson in 2008. The Bobcats won the Class 6A, Region 1 title in Eric Collier’s last season as head coach in 2022 and reached the state semifinals. “My goal is honestly to keep the tradition of physical football at Theodore,” Larson said.
