After a slow start in the first half, Auburn basketball found its rhythm and defeated the Texas Longhorns 88-82 Wednesday night inside Neville Arena.
Auburn leading scorer Keyshawn Hall put together another scoring clinic, finishing the game with 31 points and 14 made free throws.
Despite the slow start offensively, Auburn forced nine Texas turnovers in the early going of the game.
The Tigers scored 14 points off the Longhorns turnovers and cut its once 14-point deficit to just eight points.
However, it was not enough to take down the Tigers as Auburn took care of the basketball finishing with just three turnovers.
