The Stanley residents say traffic on Duchess Street has become busier and more dangerous since the Cross Tay Link Road opened last year. Perth and Kinross Council says it’s planning to extend a 20mph limit across the whole of Stanley later this year. The council says it will extend the village speed limit to cover this bridge too. “It’s got much worse since the Cross Tay Link Road and the new (Destiny) bridge opened,” she said. However, they added: “We plan to move the new lower speed limit westwards to cover the bridge as well.
