Daniel Bwala, Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu on Policy Communication, has criticized the African Democratic Congress, ADC, through its spokesman, Bolaji Abdullahi. He questioned the party’s ideological direction in a sharp social media post on Wednesday. In the post, Bwala criticised the ADC through its National Publicity Secretary, Bolaji Abdullahi, citing two recent public engagements in which Abdullahi was asked to explain the party’s ideology. According to Bwala, during the first exchange, Abdullahi responded that the party leadership was “still thinking about it.”In another appearance, which Bwala said took place “today,” he claimed the ADC spokesperson appeared confused, evasive and confrontational when pressed again on the same issue. After joining the ADC, Abdullahi was appointed National Publicity Secretary, a role in which he has consistently defended the party against criticisms of ideological ambiguity.
