Great Scott! Time machine visits Stratford. Sharp-eyed local fans of Back to the Future spotted the film’s DeLorean time machine at the Crowne Plaza on Thursday (22nd January). The replica car, made by Universal Studios for the film’s 25th anniversary, had been hired by car parts company PHINIA for an event at the hotel. After the event, the car’s owner faced a long trip home to Deal in Kent – because although the DeLorean can travel backwards and forwards in time, unfortunately it can’t teleport.
