The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has fined the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) $300,000 for misconduct involving ball boys, players, and officials during the TotalEnergies Africa Cup of Nations Morocco 2025 final. According to the decision, the FRMF was fined $200,000 for the inappropriate behaviour of stadium ball boys during the match. The disciplinary measures were followed by chaotic scenes at the end of the final, which featured confrontations among players, officials, and match personnel. CAF also imposed sanctions on the Senegal Football Federation (FSF) and several of its officials and players. Senegal head coach Pape Bouna Thiaw was suspended for five CAF matches and fined $100,000 for unsporting conduct.
