Massachusetts went into a four year snow storm drought following the blizzard of January 2022, where only .4 more inches of snow fell. This storm was the first snowstorm of six inches or more in that drought. “If you’re gonna get a snow day, you might as well have fun,” she said. “I’m happy to have that back [now that] we’re older, in college.”A number of universities in Boston were closed on Monday, including Boston University and Suffolk University. Still adjusting to the cold that came with the storm, she appreciated the joy she felt while playing in the snow.
