AN ANIMAL rescue centre in Dibden has won permission to retain an agricultural barn.
The partially open-sided structure, on land south of Manor Road, houses two shipping containers used for storage by charity All Animal Rescue.
Documents submitted to the New Forest National Park Authority states the 2.5-hectares of land are grazed by applicant Sarah Mill’s animals, which includes pigs, horses, and goats.
“Overall, it is concluded that the development and the use it facilitates is one which has an essential need for a countryside location.
On balance, it is an application I support.”Members voted in favour of the application.
