WILLIAMSPORT — A Lycoming County man again has been sentenced to 20 to 40 years in state prison in a child pornography case. Resentencing was necessary because a Superior Court three-judge panel in November reversed Fraunfelter’s conviction on seven counts of distribution of child pornography and vacated his state prison sentence. Still, they reversed the conviction on seven of the distribution counts because he had sent the pornographic images only to himself. Fraunfelter, in his appeal, argued that sending the child sexual abuse images to himself was not dissemination. It also determined that some of the 40 counts had been improperly rated second-degree felonies.
