The Pittsburgh Steelers are set to hire former Buffalo Bills and Dallas Cowboys wide receivers coach Adam Henry to take the same position. Henry was with the Bills from 2023 through this past season, and with the hiring of Joe Brady as head coach, the Bills have decided to not retain him. Henry, 53, played wide receiver at McNeese State and went undrafted in the 1994 NFL Draft. For the Steelers, it will give a new voice after previous wide receivers coach Zach Azzanni was seemingly not retained by McCarthy and his new staff. The Steelers have already started hiring new staff members, with the retaining of three former assistants and the hire of defensive coordinator Patrick Graham seemingly on the horizon.
