How to Train Your Dragon 2 has found its new Eret, replacing Kit Harington’s animated version with a fresh face from the cast of Ted Lasso. The live-action sequel brings a new take on the dragon trapper character. Phil Dunster added to the cast of How to Train Your Dragon 2 as EretPhil Dunster will play Eret in Universal Pictures’ live-action How to Train Your Dragon 2 (via The Hollywood Reporter). The original 2014 animated How to Train Your Dragon 2 followed Hiccup’s discovery of a secret dragon sanctuary and his reunion with his mother. How to Train Your Dragon 2 is currently in production and is scheduled for theatrical release on June 11, 2027.
