After multiple days off and even one day of delayed start, the students in Lubbock ISD are heading back to class, on time, beginning Thursday. Lubbock ISD Announces School is Back and On TimeStudents are expected to be in class and on time on Thursday after multiple days of winter storm interruptions. Students on Wednesday in Lubbock ISD went back to class but classes were delayed by 2 hours. In a press release on Wednesday, Lubbock ISD confirmed that schools would be open on time on Thursday. Lubbock ISD did caution that a team will check road conditions Thursday morning and if a delay is needed, messaging would be sent out around 6:00 a.m.Lubbock ISD also reminded parents of guidelines for winter weather on Thursday morning.
