"As happy as I was for Rovers part of me was screaming at myself on the inside for being a 25-year-old who missed the chance to play in back-to-back premierships with his home club," he said. "Footy is one of those things, once it's going, it's gone. A few of the blokes I worked with, they had worked instead of playing footy, they said you can't get that time back, you're going to be working for the rest of your life."
