Woman beaten, shot at by masked gunman at La Grange(Kaieteur News) – A 34-year-old woman is receiving medical treatment after she was brutally attacked and shot at on Tuesday at her residence in Doctor Dam, La Grange, West Bank Demerara. The suspect, a 39-year-old auto body technician from La Grange, is in police custody as investigations continue. Police reports indicate that an unidentified masked male, dressed in dark clothing and armed with a handgun, ran into the yard, charged at the woman, and assaulted her. The suspect subsequently discharged two rounds in her direction before making good his escape,” police said. The woman was subsequently transported to a private medical facility, where she is receiving treatment.
