Every customer remembered Jim Brown for his laughter, love, friendship and hard work every day at Brown's fruit and veg shop.
Sadly Jim died last week in the Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital, Grimsby after a short illness, aged 87 years.
He took over the shop on the corner of Sea View Street and St Peter's Avenue from his parents, Herbert and Ethel Brown.
When his parents retired Jim took over the shop, though he had worked in the shop since he was a teenager.
