The temperature in Western New York is going to reach -6 below without wind chill on Thursday and a very similar temperature on Friday as well. This week has been nothing short of pure winter weather across New York State and even the United States of America. The -6 temperature does not even include wind chill which could force schools to close due to just the cold temperature the next couple of days in New York state. Here in New York state we started at the end of last week with a state of emergency and have not looked back. Thursday and Friday will be the worst temperature wise with -6 being the overnight lows and a mere 12 to 15° as the high.
