This unusual experience was part of a wellness ritual in the Czech Republic’s (Czechia’s) most popular spa town, around an hour and a half’s drive west of Prague, where visitors can be thoroughly spoiled without breaking the bank.
With its grand Art Deco facade, red carpets and high ceilings, it is the last remaining public spa in the town.
However, in 2021, it was recognised as one of Unesco’s “Great Spa Towns of Europe”.
