New Zealand’s Antony Starr will topline Netflix surfing series Breakers, currently in production in Western Australia.
The eight-part series is the first Netflix production to film in WA, supported by Screenwest and the WA Government via the Western Australian Production Attraction Incentive.

“Screenwest is delighted to welcome Netflix to Western Australia for the first time,” said Screenwest CEO Rikki Lea Bestall.
“Breakers provides a fantastic opportunity for Western Australian heads of department, crew and cast to work on a prestige series and continue developing their careers right here in our South West.
