Photo: Getty ImagesIconic weatherman, daytime TV legend, and longtime friend of the Stern Show Al Roker celebrated his 30th anniversary on NBC’s “Today” on Tuesday morning with none other than a pop-in from Howard himself. “For you to last at NBC for 30 years is an amazing accomplishment,” Howard told him, jokingly adding, “I worked there for three years, and I couldn’t wait to get out.”“I love you and I think you’re just a great guy,” he continued. “There’s not a lot of positive going on in the world right now, but you’re very positive — and thank you for being a friend.”Al took some time to celebrate Howard, too, congratulating him on his brand-new SiriusXM contract. “You’re gonna be there at Sirius for a while longer — how does that feel?” Al asked Howard. “It feels great,” Howard said before cracking a joke about one of his friend’s most infamous film appearances: “I said to people, ‘It must be like when Al signed up to do “Sharknado.”’ That was the greatest thing I ever saw you do.”
