— The University of South Dakota women’s basketball team got back into the win column on Wednesday night with a 67-55 victory over St. Thomas at the Sanford Coyote Sports Center. With Patience Williams out of the lineup Wednesday night, Josie Hill earned her first start as a Coyote. She totaled 11 points, 10 rebounds, three assists and two blocks in 30 minutes. Elise Turrubiates totaled 14 points and a career-high 15 rebounds, and Jenna Hopp had 10 points and six rebounds for USD. Bouncing back after a road loss at North Dakota State last weekend, the Coyotes now host rival South Dakota State at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Sanford Coyote Sports Center.
