A Robeson County inmate charged with murder impersonated another inmate and escaped, according to authorities. The Robeson County Sheriff's Office said 26-year-old Zion Britt of Lumberton was last seen on Tuesday around 9:15 p.m.Other WRAL Top StoriesDeputies say he was wearing a black zip-up coat with a hood, dark sneakers and a pink shirt hanging from his back pocket and is believed to be in Robeson County. Deputies said Britt was being held in the Columbus County Detention Center related to a 2021 murder case.
