WHAT: Township trustees organizational and regular January meetingPRESENT: Thomas Domes, Dan Gladd and Christen ClemsonTrustees:• Named Domes as chairman and Gladd as vice chairman. • Approved committee appointments: Domes as liaison to fire department, road and garage; Gladd to park and Mecca Circle and the Trumbull County Sheriff’s Office; and Clemson to town hall and cemeteries. • Heard from Domes the Thomas, Galbencia and Brunstetter families are making a donation in memory of family members to beautify Mecca Circle with a sign, bench and other improvements. • Are discussing plans for a new township hall to be located at the park off state Route 46. • Set spring cleanup June 6; Community Day July 25; trick or treat 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 31; and fire department basket raffle Dec. 12.
