AAA: Gas prices in area jump

Gas prices are 10 cents higher in Northeast Ohio this week at $2.898 per gallon, according to AAA East Central’s Gas Price Report released Monday.
Even though the national average is higher this week, prices are still 24 cents cheaper than they were a year ago.
Total domestic gasoline supply increased from 251 million barrels to 257 million.
At 426.0 million barrels, U.S. crude oil inventories are about 2% below the five-year average for this time of year.
The national average per kilowatt hour of electricity at a public EV charging station remains at 38 cents.
