Balagopal presents the second Pinarayi Vijayan government’s final budget in the Kerala Assembly with key announcements expected ahead of upcoming state electionsThiruvananthapuram: Kerala Finance Minister K.N. Balagopal will present the second Pinarayi Vijayan government’s final budget in the state Assembly at 9 am on Thursday. Addressing the media ahead of the state budget on Wednesday, Balagopal said that despite financial constraints imposed by the Centre, Kerala has moved forward by increasing its own revenue. The GSDP at current prices grew by 9.97 per cent in 2024-25, as against 9.3 per cent in 2023-24. Similarly, GSVA at the current price grew at 10.08 per cent in 2024-25 as against 9.19 per cent in 2023-24.
