A recent EdWeek Research Center survey found that while most educators acknowledge that AI is here to stay, they are almost evenly split over whether its impact will be positive or negative. Meanwhile, AI’s potential to advance ideas is already being tapped in many fields, including medical research, and in classrooms around the country to support students in their work and teachers in their instruction. While concerns mount around cheating and passive learning, the truth is that AI’s most beneficial use for learning and the workplace will likely be as a thought partner.
